The Artist
Andrea González Caballero
Described by OperaWorld Magazine as “the female voice of the Spanish guitar” and by BBC Music Magazine as “one of today’s young rising stars of the classical guitar,” Andrea is an award-winning guitarist recognized with top prizes at the F. Sor and Alhambra International Competitions.
She has performed at the Palau de la Música in Barcelona, the National Auditorium in Madrid, Festival Casals in Puerto Rico, and San Francisco Performances, collaborating with the Puerto Rico Symphony, New Haven Symphony, Cottbus Philharmonic Orchestra and Neue Philharmonie Westfalen among others.
Her latest album Reencuentros led to a sold-out international tour in Australia, Europe and the United States. Andrea is proudly sponsored by Guitarras Alhambra and D’Addario & Co.
